SUMMER CAMP at Rodney Scout Reservation in Maryland is June 28th July 6th. Camp fees are $290 per Scout, $85 per adult, due April 14. Airfare is $360 per person, due May 5. The remaining balance of $150 per person for ground transportation and lodging is due June 16. Each Scout should also plan on bringing about $100 to cover meals before and after camp, snacks, trading post items, souvenirs and activities.
SCOUT FAIR is Saturday, April 19th. Be sure
you sign up to be a part of this fun filled day! Were making our famous
Taco Stew and Cornbread!
MMM! MMM! GOOD VITTLES! Them boys won 1st place
in the Camporee Cooking Competition with that thar rabbit n venison
gumbo, beating out 16 other teams! The team members were Justin Sander,
Aaron Johnson, Chris McLaren, Ryan Camp, Jared Camp, and Anthony Guerrero.
Mr. McNeff took 3rd place in the Cast Iron Chef Competition. No pressure,
but were expecting something really yummy on the next campout from
all of you!
SCOUTING FOR FOOD collection was 1876 cans!!!
That is our record! Way to go guys, and thanks to all that helped at
the food pantry afterwards! You make your community proud!
RAFTING CAMPOUT is May 2-4 in New Braunfels.
Keep these dates available for a great trip!
CANOE TRAINING is REQUIRED of all SCOUTS that
have not earned the canoe merit badge and ADULTS that will be attending
the June 13-15 canoe trip at Columbus. Sign up for either May 10th,
8am-12pm or June 7th, 9am-1pm by contacting Mrs. McNeff at 281-217-6469

SPRING COURT OF HONOR is Friday, May 16th,
7pm at New Hope Lutheran Church. Lock-in will follow. Street Cleanup
will be Saturday morning.
